3 A lot of membership that doesn’t participate/come to church – opportunities to bring these people back./Certain youth are consistently disruptive and disrespectful at Sunday School and Midweek.  They need to be addressed as it makes it bad/not fun for the youth who want to learn, participate and have fun. Dave does midweek and ushers now and has been an elder in the past. None No
4 Of the three churches they’ve attended, Redeemer stands out as most friendly. Has helped in past with Mid-Step dinners.  If schedule changes, they’ll be happy to assist again. God has blessed them so much despite personal life having lost a job.  Prayer has changed their llives. No at this time!
5 No.  Don’t like charging for Midweek and Bible School and Bible Study.  Too much fund raising. Loves liturgy – but has to choose between Sunday School or 9: 15 service.  Can’t get to early service. Numerous ailments – Janice just got diabetes.  Norlyn just got diagnosed with cancer but is fairly treatable. Not really.
6 They thought the Altar could become more attractive than now compared to other Lutheran Churches.  They are very happy at Redeemer but they showed some concern about the visual Altar.  They did stress though that wasn’t the reason people go to church. Didn’t indicate any – probably because of age or health.  They were very positive about our church’s direction. None. They were very cooperative and thankful.  I was very impressed with their positive attitude towards the activities has.

She was taught by a young man to pray mealtime and bedtime and has prayed ever since.  Her favorite hymn is “Lift High the Cross”
